Told you it was a sum 41 song, people overthink something as simple as "I'm going to post a new song for you soon" and misinterpret it and start assuming things and jumping to conclsions, therefore starting rumors and we all know how fast rumors spread. Anyway it sucks about the lyrics, though this is the first time i hear something like this.

i think what he does is, if the title of the blog is "pointless deryck and red wine chronicles" then that means hes just going to post his opinion or review of an artist he really likes.

I don't think it just that song. The label doesn't want them to release any of the songs until they feel it is the right time. They the label are most likely thinking it would be good to wait a little longer before they release a new song. Its a good way to kick off the marketing of the new album.

I don't see any of Deryck's blogs on his myspace anymore.

wow. thats super gay that they deleted all his blogs. he should pull a Trent Reznor and completely split from their label. but i don't think sum 41 have that religious of a fan base to follow everything they do.
