Is anyone else just a little disapointed by this? I mean dont get me wrong its great their doing an album, means longer tours
but I was kinda looking forward to an E.P because they havent done one before. And as said above it means a much later release date!
Spose at least theres the greatest hits to look forward too, but that seems trivial when they could release their best album ever 6 months later.

Early 2009 was for the originally planned EP. That may have only been 5 songs, who knows and perhaps only released digitally (itunes, for example). Obviously switching to a full length album is going to cause a huge delay.
Why would anybody be disappointed with this news? Sure, it's going to be a lot longer wait, but it's definitely worth it. If they released the EP, they would play a very limited tour and most likely head back on a traditional hiatus. It would be years before the next full length album was released. So now we wait an extra 6 months (hopefully not much longer) and we get a world tour along with an entire album. Sure seems worth it to me.
Also keep in mind that a record label has a lot to do with when an album is released. A band does not have the only say as to when an album is released.

Well, everyone knew that they are not making ep.. but yeah what the fuck, they are not even 100% sure that its coming this year, oh my god.

yeah HHOP as well as the motivation EP. doesn't have much, but it's still called an EP.

HHOP is an album, the actual written material is only an EP but they intentionally put the 5 minute silence (or however long it is) just to make it an album. its an album, end of discussion.

I'm not so sure, inside the HHOP booklet in the thank you's it said "this EP is.....blah blah thank you" I actually thought it was an album untill I saw that. and really, silence doesn't make it an album.

well EPs are usually followed up by albums with the same stuff and none of this is on any other album, and technically anything 30 mins or longer is a full album.

it's a studio album, but they clearly mark it as an EP. and Summer was on HHOP then rerecorded for AKNF. i would consider it an EP.
