We have random assemblies. We don't have dances at this school. Well, it's fairly new, and this year is gonna be the first time anyone graduates, so we'll see if they have a prom or something.
But otherwise, we don't have dances because the UAE fails at life sooo badly.

You failed a QUIZ in Language Arts?
Considering quizes arn't usually very important and I have never heard of "Language Arts" I'd say your parents are harsh. But you'll thank them for it one day.

That does suck quite hard... and people say this all the time but dont waste your school days! you WILL regret it at college... i did, i spent a year re-taking my english gcse because i couldnt be arsed with the coursework at school (i blame WoW tbh, but meh.).

Well, try to think of it positively. It won't last for too long, and for the time it does last, you could probably take up a new hobby, or download music while you're on the computer, load it onto your iPod the next day, and that way you can listen to new music or something like that(:
