I really think it's the same mumbling/whispering at the very end of the song...

Same as what? In the intro? Of course it's the same, since the intro and the outro are exactly the same.
Or what do you mean?
It's really hard to say, but my ears are hearing something like "It's true" or "Is there any...", but it's really hard to figure out.
In Pull The Curtain, I only figured the word "alright" (I think), but can't find out the rest.
I think it's a shame that Deryck has made some effort to put some hidden vocals in his songs, but which can't be even heard. :/

well it adds more melody and intrigue to the songs, so maybe the hidden vocals are not meant to be understood
there are some in "slipping away", and I know more songs have them I just can't think off the top of my head. So its not something new he just did for UH

Yeah, there's also some jibber-jabber at the beginning of Mr. Amsterdam before the first verse begins.

Yeah its really hard to hear alright!
Just something I noticed on the main site for Pull The Curtain
The lyrics say;
"Gutter dreams as black as the night.
(Lying dead and forgot,)"
I'm pretty sure he says "Falling dead from phobia" after the lyric "gutter dreams as black as the night" though :p

At the very end of the song after Deryck stops talking, there's some weird-ish music with whispering that you can hear really clearly. I'm thinking that's what it is behind the vocals. But I have no idea what the whispering voice SAYS. So..
I'm starting to doubt it anyway
