Well, Ian is supposed to be a guest on the Op.MD album though we have no confirmation cuz Cone haven't answered me ><
There are pics from the recording of the Op.MD album and you can see Ian in the pics, so I doubt it that he was in the studio without even contributing a little bit, even if he was there by chance or just came by to say hi.

Yeah, whenever Steve was around during Deryck and Cone's bickering, he was just like "ummm... heh."

he has some cool bass in "This is Goodbye" I think the reason he didn't have as many parts in UH is when the song got silent or softer deryck used piano instead of bass.
