to be fair there's also many white people who'll be voting for McCain just because Obama's black...

I cannot believe Obama is winning this.

How is spreading the wealth suppose to help the economy?

Hoho, lets take the money the richer people make and give it to the lazy ass couch potatos.
^So why would you work extra to get more money if it is just ganna be taken away?

Then to the lazy people; if you get a check from the government every month; the why work?

That is a Great way to MURDER the econmy.

Democrats need to stop reacting with emotion and start thinking things though.

That is my view.

Obama is not "black". He's Not african-american.

Techcnically, he's Kenyan-American. But his mom was white, so if he's "black" , he's only half black.

And is it me or should there be some required test about politics that people have to score above a certain score on to be able to vote? Not to be racist, but i think Obama will win because of thousands of young ignorant black people who vote for him just becuase he's young and black.

Elections should be about politics, nuthin else.

Here's my (crazy) solution:

Instead of nominating 2 candidates, we nominate 2 sets of ideals & beliefs (that are the candidates ideals) but we don't tell people which candidate has which ones, and they are sworn to secrecy. once we elect a set of ideals, we then reveal which candidate had those and they become president.

simple enough?
The Republic of Kenya is a country in East Africa.

Oh yeah 'Africa' and Kenya are two different countries. I bet you were the man in your geography classes.

Oh, God. I hate when people try to debate politics when they have no idea what they're talking about.
I picked Obama, and if someone wants to debate on my choice, please know what you're talking about.

I find this hilarious. My family works hard for the money we earn and we still earn under $80,000 a year. My mom and dad trying to support mine and my brother's education (Private school tuition is EXPENSIVE), hockey ice time fees (the school doesn't help girl's hockey very much), sheep (hay, straw, food, etc.) and not to mention the various bills and shit. I'm so sick of people stereotyping the rich as hard working and the poor as lazy couch potatoes.

Some people are not given the same opportunity as others, I hope you know. A lot of people are fortunate and are born into families that can afford to send their kid(s) to college. Some, though, don't get that great chance. Some are stuck working jobs with terrible hours just to pay the rent. Just because they make less than 100,000, or whatever you want to say, a year does NOT mean they don't work as hard as the rich small business owner. Oh, boo hoo, Obama wants to take away our hard-earned money. Charity should be optional, right? We shouldn't have to help the poor because they're all lazy assholes, am I right?

Dammit. Seriously. Besides, Obama's plan would raise taxes on those who CAN AFFORD it. If you make more than 200,000 dollars a year, you're pretty rich. Like I said, my family can send me to a school that costs 11,000 a year (minus 3,000 or so with financial aid), and we still aren't considered upper class by Obama's plan. Those with less money can't pay the same percentage of taxes as the richer people can.

This is ridiculous. I've heard people say this all day; one going as far to say he can't wait for Obama to get shot. It's not the end of the world. You are pro-life, correct? You support all lives, no matter how small? To say something like this, joking or not, is a contradiction of your beliefs. Even if you are joking, the assassination of a man who has done nothing terrible (like terrorist attacks or murder) is not something to joke about.
