I love both bands but I honestly prefer Simple Plan. I think Sum 41 can be such immature dicks at times especially when it comes down to them shit talking about other bands. I mean why do that? It's not going to get you any credit if your talking like that about other bands especially who have thanked you as being one of their main influences, if anything you praise and acknowledge that.

The only reason Simple Plan would insult Sum 41 is because Sum 41 started it first and they (tried) to publicly insult them in Kerrang! magazine. I Don't care whether you like their music or not but to get pissed of at a band because your playing before them and you think your bigger and better than them, and then getting the crowd all rowdy and taunting them so they can try and make Simple Plan look bad is just being pathetic and lame. I have respect for both bands but to do that and launch an insult attack on them whenever they can is just wrong and pathetic and unprofessional on their part.
