good victory for us last night, good to see Keane get off the mark too, finally! we're looking pretty good in our group now, but the next 2 games are the big games, if we can get a victory out of 1 of the 2 Atletico Madrid games then we should be through to the next round

was awesome to see Chelsea draw too, and Drogba getting injured again, they have quite a few keys payers out injured now, hopefully this will have affect in the premiership so Liverpool can get the upper hand on them

dude have you seen this ??
ARSEILLE, France (AFP) — UEFA have slapped Spanish side Atletico Madrid with a stadium ban following a complaint of racism by French club Marseille.
Marseille lodged an official complaint with European football's ruling body after several of their players were targeted by Atletico fans during their match in Madrid on October 1.
Monkey chants were aimed at the French club's players, while the Marseille team bus was attacked after the match.
UEFA said Atletico must play their next two European matches, the first of which will be against Liverpool on October 22, at a stadium at least 300km away from Madrid.
A third match ban will be invoked if there is a repeat of crowd trouble or racist chanting within the next five years.
Atletico have also been fined 150,000 euros and their coach, Javier Aguirre, has been banned for both matches with Liverpool for insulting Marseille players.
Atletico have until October 17 to appeal the ban, which means they will also have to host PSV Eindhoven at a neutral ground on November 26.
The club slammed the sanctions as "completely unfair and disproportionate" and it would appeal the decision.
"At no time were insults of racist or xenophobic character directed at any Olympique de Marseille player, as supported by the video of the match and in the record given by the U.E.F.A. delegate himself."
"The chants denounced by the members of the French side may possibly correspond to the chants that the supporters of Club Atletico Madrid sing in order to cheer on their team and their player Kun Aguero, repeating over-and-over again the sound Kun, Kun, Kun', a circumstance that may have caused the French players to confuse said sound with that made by monkeys."
Aguirre's sanction - to be applied at the neutral ground against Liverpool, then at Anfield on November 4 - means he will not be allowed at an official event during and after the match, or in the tunnel, technical area or dressing-room. Any communication with the team is also forbidden.
Atletico won the Marseille match 2-1. Liverpool and Atletico are joint leaders in Group D of the Champions League having both won their opening two matches.
Marseille meanwhile believe justice has been done.
"It's great news," said Marseille coach Eric Gerets. "It's a pity that such serious sanctions have to be handed down, but racism does not belong in a football ground

another exciting week of Champions League football. Liverpool leave Atletico with a draw, which before the game i would of taken, but after watching the game, and seeing us lose the lead so late on, i find it a bad result.
