How do I know? It's pretty obviously, what else would he be sorry for? They did drugs, all of them did. There's small clips of it every where, mostly just weed but still. An example is in the EPK of sake bombs and happy endings, they have the biggest blunt ever. And theres songs about it to such as hooch and angels with dirty faces. Not to mention deryck did a cover of Whats the story (Morning Glory) by Oasis and that song is about drugs, the lyrics talking about mirrors and razor blades which is how you usually take cocaine, cut it with razor blades and sniff it on a mirror.

You guys act like it's a huge mystery, when it's not. I'm sure if V took a little time out of whatever social life he lives and emailed deryck for the 1000th time and asked him about it, he'd likely agree.

Um, the whole band has acknowledged that they used to drugs and no longer do so. Avril has said that she made Deryck stop doing drugs.

That does sound like it's what it's about. "You mean so much and I'd take back all that I've done if I could start again," "I'd throw it all away to the shadows of regrets and you could have the best of me..." It certainly sounds connected to quitting substance abuse for someone. And the first verse sounds very much like he's addressing the rumour mill in Hollywood.
