lol that was a funny video, and the guy who filmed it and asked the questions seemed annoying really, but why are we so against him?
I mean, Deryck was probably annoyed cuz this guy probably appeared from nowhere started asking random questions about the upcoming album they haven't started working on ("are you gonna produce the new album? i mean, c'mon, he sure doesn't know that) probably without even greeting Deryck and whatever, and just being annoying, but it still seemed like Deryck was too much of an ass, i mean, he could've at least stop, unless he didn't want it to be really official since this wasn't a real interview and all, but still Deryck kept walking turning his back to the camera, that was just rude, but i'm sure he didn't expect this to appear online , i guess, cuz he just gave this "i don't give a shit" attitude, not about an upcoming album, side projects, nor punk rock which was funny when the guy said "but you're a punk rocker you gotta care!" haha

Yeah I agree. Although you guys keep calling him a "cameraman" when really he's just a fan with a video camera. I think Sum 41 needs to start caring about punk rock and about it's music

Um... it wasn't a fan with a camera. It was a paparazzo. If it had been a fan, Deryck obviously would've been a bit more polite.

LA has changed him... into a person who doesn't trust strange people carrying professional cameras. I wouldn't either.

No one in LA who's following around celebrities is a "fan with a camera"...

Really, it was nice of him to turn around to even sort of answer questions. Most celebs won't even do that.

And if any of you would even consider ambushing Deryck with a camera when he's with his friends leaving from a meal, then REALLY, all I have to say is shame on you.

I don't and I don't think any of us here can know for sure if he was a fan or a paparazzo. It's LA, I think by moving there you know what happens in LA especially to celebs. If your on the streets, you probably have to expect to be on film. And I take my comment back earlier, I don't think LA changed him, but rather all the paparazzo assholes there.

Well, i guess Phili is kinda right. I would be annoyed too if i would've been asked stupid questions all of a sudden when leaving a restaurant with my friends, and if it really was a Paparazzo then he actually has a good reason to be so ignorant, otherwise he seemed kinda of a jerk.

Not to mention all the paparazzi walk around with high end professional video cameras. That's probably how Deryck tells the difference.

I think Deryck was prepared for all the attention. I mean, he's living in LA and he married Avril Lavigne. But I think he knows that being polite to the paparazzi isn't and shouldn't really be an expectation.

Even if it was a paparazzo who liked their music, he's still a scumbag who's bothering people while they're having a day to themselves. NO ONE, not even celebrities, should have to answer questions when they go out to eat.
