Re: Christianity
I'm Catholic, always will be Catholic, but I never go to church (like everyone else) except for Christmas and Easter and I never do anything else religious. I always went to a Catholic elementary school but I always looked at religion class and in-school church like free time, nothing more though. I guess now that I'm in high school and other people and their religions, or lack thereof, have been forced onto me, or i should say "brushed" onto me and I'm starting to think that it is really kind of an excuse or a false answer to the unexplainable. I mean, I still believe in God and Jesus and that I'm going to heaven when I die, but doesn't it seem a little too much. I don't understand how it's possible because I never experienced any religious epiphanies or times where I felt fully in tune with God. All I'm saying is I'd like some answers, and I'm speaking for a lot of people.
uh, hello?

Re: Christianity
I find the religion is one of the major causes of war, plus I find it hard to follow a god that says "Do Not Kill" and then ask some dude to build a boat while he [GOD] kills everyone by making them drown.
If he does exist he ain't nothing but a coward

If he does exist he ain't nothing but a cowardBut God did impose a "ban" when the Israelites were conquering the "promised land" (Canaan). The ban said to kill every living thing in a city conquered and destroy all the riches. If God loves everyone why did he want the Israelites to kill everyone? And if God loves us all soooo much why do most of us go to hell?
and dudes the holy bible is just a tale nothing else you don't have to read it as if everything there was true

Re: Christianity
I believe that there is something in this world we don't have control over. My country's past was really rough, so my parents were born in the communist times of the Soviet Union, so no one really cared about religion then.
Sorry to everyone who is religious, but i'm not planning on having to do with anything that has caused so many lives of innocent people, and still does even today, that's religion. Everyone who thought differently, died. Lot of them were good people. Everything that contradicted God and could have taught so much more about the world we live in, was burned and destroyed.
This kind of blind belief about something is really no my cup of tea. To go all these lengths about something you're even not sure of. And tell me please, if a person, who has lived peacefully, was a good person in every way, doesn't believe in God, then he goes to hell? Unfair, much?
There are so many things in life we don't know until we die. Until then, i'm skeptic. And if i did go to hell, i'd meet some really famous people there.
And i know that religion has always been a subject of a lot of arguments and fights, but as i've always said, i like when a person has a liberty to choose and no one can't criticize him for his choices. Peace.
