C'mon, guys. It's clearly Deryck. Not only does he have the chops but various members of the band have said that he does all the vocals on the album.

There's a noticeable difference between Deryck's scream and Dave's. I've noticed that the people who are insisting it's Dave are people who know a whole lot more about him than I do. You should know better (and I'm saying that in a completely non malicious way... you just should.).

It's clearly not dave, It is deryck

Well, at least Stevo sings some parts in Thanks For Nothing. So not all vocals are by Deryck. :P

Even though Deryck sang them live.

On the subject of who sings what which part of Motivation does Gerg Nori do vocals as i'm pretty sure the booklet says he does, and apparently he recorded guitar on Handle This and P4P which seems a bit pointless as Dave should have.

He sings the backing vocals. The ones Dave used to sing live, and now Tom sings:

Yeah... nope. You would be shocked if you realized just how similar Cone and Deryck's voices can sound. They've been singing together for so long that Cone can pretty much sing the back-up vocals pretty much exactly as they are on the album. Cone has never lended his vocals to a Sum 41 song besides the b-side that we have yet to hear.

And if you listen to Deryck's scream in Pull the Curtain, you will find that it's far more likely to be him on Mr. Amsterdam. Deryck's scream is more of a screamo scream, like in most Sum 41 album screams, where Dave's scream is more of a metal wail, like in most Sum 41 live screams.

You know whats really weird? since Cone is always credited as backing vocalist, it always seemed to me like he also does vocals on the album, until like few months ago when i realized.... its freakin' Deryck doing all the vocals, and then live i heard that Cone's voice as he's doing backing vocals sounds really like Deryck's on the album... so all in all... its just weird.
I don't get it, why wouldnt Cone record vocals for the record?

I always thought it was Dave and Deryck together. Deryck is pretty good at screams, but when Dave does it, he can hit the higher notes better. And when you listen, the screams are double-tracked.

I'm actually not too sure though.

Yeah, dave does the higher notes great, thats why it kinda sounds like him.
for example, when they performed a medley of Fat Lip, No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn, Shout at the Devil and You've Got Another Thing Comin' at MTV, Dave did a great really high pitched scream in Shout at the Devil.
