He always throws his vocals out there full-force
Listen to Open Wounds off Muertos Vivos, he sings quiet soft in that, and he fucking nails it. IMO he's a better singer then Cone.

I like Tom's voice. Even in backing vocals. But yeah, he either sings too loudly, or then hes mic is turned too loud.

I think it would be ubercool if Deryck and Cone would both be the lead singers. I mean like Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus back in Blink-182 days.

Are you kidding? "Muertos Vivos" is the new "Chuck"!
The album is a great heavy metal approached record for those punk guys, which is kinda like Sum's "Chuck", plus "Underground", a super heavy metal song, the heaviest on the record, definitely stands out as a heavy metal song kinda like The Bitter End, so i mean, some could say its not worth listening cuz its like a copy of Chuck, but actually its just a fun album in the same vein.
Even so I still think there shit, personal opinion; mean on offense to anyone

I definitely agree, about the singing too full force or whatever. It definitely, 100% makes sense.

It's really hard for a frontman to fall back into the shadows and be a backup vocalist. He also probably has his own creative differences of opinion on how it should sound - so when he gets to sing, he does what he wants.

No band should EVER have two frontmen.

I would have no respect for them, if they did that.

Yeah, its just not working with two frontmen, both of different bands.
Its like to create a supergroup with two powerful and big frontment, like Axl Rose and David Coverdale or something, it'll be too crazy, they'll probably fight all day long haha

But to be honest, i always thouht of Mark in Blink 182 as much as a frontman as Tom (DeLonge) was, although i'm pretty sure Tom is considered the frontman.

Easy. toms voice sucks and the lyrics are predictable.

We feel SICK, BROKEN DOWN. drug ourselves, UNDERGROUND.

The caps are the predictable parts.

And theres loads. "War is a Cemetery" NO SHIT.

I love that I Hear You Calling song.

I'm not sure if I know any other Gob songs...but that shit was fun, catchy, and feel good. I love it.

Oh! Give Up the Grudge was them too, right? LOVED IT! It was so cliche and lame...but SO FUN. I wouldn't say I'm a Gob fan...but I certainly have no problem with them.

I really don't like Gob with the exception of like 3 songs.

I really think Tom needs to learn how to be a backing vocalist instead of a lead singer.

But Sum 41 is just encouraging by putting Deryck on the harmonies in With Me live.

I don't mind Tom's singing. Some songs it's good, some songs it's crap. As for Cone singing, he's got a pretty good voice (just judging by that one Operation M.D. song).

Or they could be like the beatles and have everyone sing a little bit!
