Yeah, I've noticed the promotion has been kind of shitty.

Well, I hope With Me does well. You can't really blame a song like that coming to existance with Sum 41 since it was created around the time Deryck got married. And since Deryck's hair isn't black anymore, the accusations of being "emo" might be lower than expected this time around. Hopefully.

back on subject i think derycks injury ruined any power this album had left in it, everything kinda went to shit and hopefully this tour will make up for it, but it just seems so dead already.

Yeah, like almost three months of not playing any shows or showing face to promote Underclass Hero really killed it.

But it's not like Sum 41 is in some deep sort of rut either that they can't get out of. To me, they've always done relatively well after All Killer.

They are doing well anyway, and thats what important, even though this tour is pretty much dead, still the dedicated fans like us still get updated about tour dates and such, so its gonna be ok.

and yeah, now since his hair is back again spiky and blonde there gonna be probably less "emo" talks, since then it was black and kinda down (not as punky and spiky as it is now haha punky)

i bet when with me is released it will do to sum 41 what, boulevard of broken dreams did to green day, i miss you did to blink, it aint a scene its an arms race did to fob. . . . . its gonna get onto the pop channels and every teeny bopper will love them will flood their shows and after 2 weeks of knowing the band, they'll claim to be bigger fans of sum 41 than anyone on here. im a fan since fat lip was released and if that happens ill be so pissed off

That sounds very possible and if it will it suck.
I just dont agree about FOB, i just remember them the same pop/MTV popular band they were before It aint a scene... (which itself is probably the gayest "punk" song i've ever heard).

i want With Me to be very popular, they really need a big hit since they really havent had any since Fat Lip

I suppose I'm on the fence for this one now. I want Sum 41 to have a hit, but I'd prefer it not to be with "With Me".

They probably should've reconsidered what songs to put out as singles. It just seems that Underclass Hero and Walking Disaster did poor. All I know is on the MuchMusic 30 Countdown Walking Disaster peaked at like #23 give or take a few spots. But I don't watch that show religiously so I don't know for sure.

i don't think it has anything to do with the songs. the people at much think sum 41 are past their prime. thats just the way it is. read the review of the album UH you will see what i mean.
