Well, I do love the Sums after UH and i always did.

Of course, DTLI and Chuck were better than albums than UH and UH isn't that original and all, true, but its still a very good album, and i still love 'em.

At least when All Killer and Infected were out, no one made accusations about originality. Now it just seems relentless how much Sum 41 gets a bad rap because of a little similar melody here and there (although they kind of went overboard with the Hero album and The Bitter End and Pieces).

I don't like them any less as I did before, because I can just listen to their previous albums and live in the past. But as long as Sum 41 keeps evolving as a band, I'm happy. Hopefully, next time they evolve in all aspects of their music 100% instead of just lyrically.

Sumfan, I still like Sum 41 and I like Underclass Hero for what it is. I just don't think it's as great as Deryck says it is.

I'm also not implying that they were better with Dave. However at least with Dave nothing was being compared to Green Day and Blink-182.

The thing that annoyed me the most about Underclass Hero was the repetativeness and I probably never would've caught on as quickly as I did if it wasn't being pointed out everywhere.

I know this is a Sum 41 forum and everything, but you can't expect everyone to like everything. For example, just because Fat Lip was their breakthrough song, not every fan of Sum 41 if going to have that on their "favorite songs" list. And people act as if it is a crime to get tired of that song.

PS: why would someone that hates deryck waste it's time in a forum of a band that has deryck on it? And why wouldn't that person join a brown brigade forum instead of a sum 41 forum if that person loves dave?

i think the reason that i think Underclas Hero is boring is that i listened to it for 3 months and nothing else. i remember when i first listened to the album. IT WAS AMAZING. all the songs flowed nicely and the choruses were great. and i think it is their best album yet and i like them even more then i did before.
