it doesn't look like he's playing. you can't see the pick. im thinking a fan wanted him to hold their guitar so he could take a picture of Deryck with his/her guitar.

just my guess, it kinda looks like he's posing for the picture.

I;ve seen deryck strum a guitar a little without a pick and just holdin his hand like that, but he is prolly posing.

But yeah, it really doesn't look like he's playing it, though Deryck played a Telecaster Deluxe in the past (except his signature model).
