I would be pissed to if the sums would do the same to me, really pissed cuz i never seen 'em live yet, and they are my favorite band and if they would cancell like few hours before the show, i would be so pissed!

Yes, because a person can control when they get sick.

He, whoever it was, was probably holding out as long as possible before it got to the point of inconvenience, hoping they wouldn't have to back out of the show.

Well, if Deryck IS really sick so i really wish him quick recovery, yeah, but since he has already a record of skipping interviews because of being "sick", like you said, or losing your voice (it actually happened more times than only with the dickhead aussie DJ), so as you see, even we the fans, dont buy it, but if it's true - Deryck, have a quick recvoery and reschedule a new date for those guys, you owe them one heck of a show! :D

Yeah, flu's only last for a couple of days. So whoever is sick will be ready by their next show on Sunday. Ah well, I still have a Deryck Whibley signature guitar to look forward too!

Ok, so if Avril's in Mexico and Deryck's record for skipping due to sickness is almost always just for interviews. (Except for that bit in 2005 where he seriously lost his voice and he went on MOD anyways and you could barely hear his voice and Leah Miller was dressed in this really tiny nurse outfit and she said "aw, I can barely hear your voice, you poor thing"... it was weird)

Based on that, if it is Deryck, he's actually sick.

And if it's Steve or Cone, he's definitely actually sick.

Same here but i was at the calgary show the other night and deryck was coughing alot but maybe he always coughs at shows i wouldnt know its my first sum 41 concert.....but yea that sucks :?

I'm waitin' for Sum 41 to play in Los Angeles. They played a few months back after they released Underclass Hero but that was in the Warped tour with a gazillion other bands with a stage time of like 25 min.
And they haven't played a full-on concert here yet this year :(
and they don't even have one scheduled, here, of all places.
More than half of the band live here, they should play here.

yeah i'm sure they'll do a "were back" tour. but yeah i hope its not anything to serious and doesn't effect his future playing

he was probley drunk and did something stupid. honestly, i have very little respect for people who do that.

but not only that they have to cancel a bunch of concerts, but they have to post-poned any videos for singles and shit like that for (how long does it take to recover from a back injury?)
