No, it is a a totally white tele with one humbucker and two(I think) red X's

i have never seen him play a white FENDER telecaster w/ red X's. so i think theyre talking about the squier one he plays. Like the one he played on the walking disaster vid and the underclass hero live thing on the website. you might be talking about the white with white colored pickguard w/ the red X's that he played with Iggy Pop on that most recent show they did with him, but that was actually a squier too. Oh, and someone asked about how the input jack is installed on the pickguard. its extremly easy, you just unsrew it from the normal position, and slide it up through one of the control holes, and screw it down.

I don't know... all I can think of is that it would be more stable there and harder to pull out because I saw a picture of him playing his Squier and notice how the jack is secured to the guitar with black electrical tape?

He also did the same modification to his pewter Fender Telecaster with the stickers, I think.

i think he puts the input jack on the face of the pickguard for security. i have a tele, and the fucking input jack comes loose all the time. im typing and holding it in right now actually! and he has a 90 degree angle cable so it sits flush on the pickguard. maybe he got used to it like that from playing SGs.

I don't know, must be a build-up of all the dirt and sweat or something and he's been playing that guitar since 2004 I think, so it's really worked. The paint on the edges of the guitar are wearing off, but it's nowhere close to Cone's basses!

He should just get it fixed up some :D

Can anyone tell me if Deryck has used a Gibson Burst Bucker pickup in any of his guitars? I remember reading in the Q&A back in April/May and he said that he had that for a pickup.

cone told me that he doesn't give a shit about his basses and just throws them on the ground when he's done, thats why there all like that.

And i think this one you said a Classic Les Paul in Sunburst, i think it's actually Tobacco and not Sunburst, just like Slash's signature.

I think he means Deryck started to use that guitar in the Infected era. He continued to use it well into the Chuck era too, but then that's when he got the Tele Deluxe I believe.

But yeah, the picture is from the Chuck tour.
