I thought they all sung the first verse then Dave did the majority of the second Verse.

Um, no. That wasn't Dave. That was... a rapper dude. I can't remember his name off the top of my head. It's MC Shan or MC Sham or something.

I always thought that the guy in the second verse of the HHOP version sounded a lot like Zach De La Rocha from RATM.

Def. some unknown rapper named MC Sham or something. He's credited in the booklet and spoke about it in an interview somewhere recently. (although he did say that Dave was the one who was married to Avril which was a bit odd...)
