i agree, because rap usually talks about money and all that's connected to it, very shallow, but emo music talks about emotions and everything related to that, so they're indeed quite different...

I never really enjoyed rap. But I did go through this little phase I suppose, where I listened to a lot of Eminem. Even today I don't really mind listening to some of his songs now and again. But that is probably the only rapper I ever really paid attention to back in the day.

Just Linkin Park rap, I can't stand the rest of it.

Eminem has created some good music with decent lyrics, he does deserve all the fame he has had with his music imo. i listen to NaS alot as well, his lyrics arnt just about "fly girls, gangstas and money" he actually talks about some of the problems going on in the world today.

I like some older rap stuff like Public Enemy, N.W.A and Run DMC, they were qaulity! back when was all about partying, fucking and having a good time and so much about guns, drugs and shit.

Modern stuff like 50 Cent, The Game and we cant forget G G G G UNIIIIIT! pmsl, its complete fucking shite to be fucking honest!

Oh I like rap mixed with abit of rock like Zebrahead.. or even my like 3rd favourite band The Bloodhound Gang, they got some rap tracks.
