I can't speak for everybody but some people probably hate Simple Plan as harshly as they do due to the "Sum 41 vs. Simple Plan" rivalry that has been going on for quite some time. Loyalty to the band they like, haha.

I don't hate Simple Plan as a band. But I hate most of their songs. This song is BAD. This is easily the most GENERIC pop-rock song in the past year or two. When I don't hear about a band for a few years I shouldn't be expecting them to come back with a song like this. If you like this song then you are probably 14 or younger. You walk around thinking that drugs are cool and sometimes talk about swag. Your favorite show is Jersey Shore or Fantasy Factory. You also have a liking for Wiz Khalifa and any other horrible mainstream music that's out there. You only know one album from your favorite artist.

not my case, bro, I really like SP , the first two albums, songs like Crazy,Me Against The World,Jump and more, I like the lyrics in Crazy, even though they're very simple, where they sing about stupidity of people and rich guys who just don't give a fuck, but look at them, what they do to get money, are they the same guys they used to be, or was it just a fucking act from the begining ?

Well what's good in this song is that it's pretty catchy. What's bad: everything else. It lacks originality and the lyrics are just awful.

I used to love them and still think that some of their older songs are alright, but nowadays they're rather horrible.

Just realised that it was also exactly like that with Avril for me.

I just checked on their website, and there's a video of Pierre playing drums on that song. I guess it's not hard for a drummer to play this song, but still, he does a great job, way better than I think I'll ever do.
