haha Deryck screwed up the lyrics at the end of skumfuk a wee bit. oh and the lyrics in SBM a lot! ^^ his singing isnt really on form- was this just after he got out of hospital? if so i really dont blame him- hes usually really great! besides that, the quality and the instrument-playing was brilliant!

Well that kinda sucked. But ofcourse Deryck's voice is still recovering and not 100 %. He kinda fucked up the beginning of skumfuk too. Anyway I agree about cone being awesome in Fat lip! He should sing more often

Little bit of torture...Really hope his voice has recovered properly by the time he needs to SING a lot more (in the new stuff)... Cone is AWESOME there however!! not sums best performance...Deryck look like he was in pain near the end of skumfuk and sbm...but its not really his fault, he was sick. But good camera angles-didn't just show Deryck.

Brilliant? More like barely better than a pile of shit. The guitar sound was pathetic, the drums were weak and undefined, the bass changes in volume constantly, the vocals lack reasonable reverb and compression most of the time and all the levels were poorly balanced (almost seemed like not at all), especially bad for MTV standards. If this was your first time hearing Sum 41 without knowing about Deryck's condition and how awesome their live sound actually is in reality, I would forgive anyone for believing they suck live. As a live broadcast, this would've been okay, but this was taped and edited, WTF MTV??
