Right now, I'm more concerned about him staying alive than his touring/new music to be honest =/
I mean, many others have died from the same thing =/

Anyone thinking that this would have something to do with the smoking and drinking he has done atleast for a year now? Just thinking but anyway, wishing him a speedy recovery and hope he's soon back on stage.

I don't know, but maybe he should take care of himself more than he did in this last year.

Derycks always getting sick! This photo just made me feel even more sad about the situation. Don't like seeing him like this! It's not the Deryck we're used to seeing. Hope deryck feels better <3 he's always putting music before his health. he owes himself rest! i know he'll have a speedy recovery and bring us the best world tour ever for Screaming Bloody Murder soon! (This is my 500th post by the way! So I know he'll be back to good health in no time!!)

I nearly had a heart attack when i saw this picture on fb. I hope he gets well soon, I'm so worried.

Deryck must really be sick of going to the hospital. Hope he gets better really soon, it sucks to see him like this.

as I said in the SBM thread,for a healthy adult pneumonia should be an easy thing to handle ...just two things bother me -
1.the word 'severe'
2.if we can consider as a healthy adult
actually three,I don't trust doctors too

Hopefully that picture is of him sleeping, didn't someone say there was a bit of an issue with the tour a couple of days ago?
If so maybe he caught it, then was trying to get rid of it because you can usually treat pneumonia without going to the hospital, but couldn't get rid of it so he went to the hospital

Shit, just saw that it's really scary. I feel like most of you there, dont care about the record now, just want him to get better. It nearly feels like it's a good friend of me which would be in that state. Get well soon, Deryck :(

Like what some members have already said, all the drinking has decreased the effectiveness of his immune system making him more susceptible to bacteria and viruses that caused him to have pneumonia that an average person would probably be immune to.
I hope he gets well soon.

Well, this sucks. But I'm sure he will be alright, tho it takes at least a month to heal properly. In worst case scenario a lot more.
I've had severe pneumonia, 2 months in bed. Fuck it sucked.
