Yeah, I think you're right. It's a snare on the album, but it's made to sound weaker and not as full. I think replicating that part live wouldn't have the same effect because the snare would sound the same all the way through.peacock41 wrote:anyreason why .. only thing i can think of is for it to sound louder when it all kicks in
It's actually just the snare rim on the album. You could also hear it in one of the rehearsal updates where Cone suggests the song and Steve asks how many strokes before Tom comes in.
