nintendo have always been the first to come up with innovative designs.
the 3d stick, rumble paks and wireless controllers: nintendo were the first, and, tbh the best.
they care less about "good graphics" and realism and more about whats important: having a good time playing the damn game.

The Wii is awesome but Ive never really liked Nintendo because they always make too much kid friendly games.

I know quite a bit about the history of video games and the very first console ever made was the Odyssey Magnovox and the Atari 2600 was the very first commercial success since it sold A LOT back in the day. For two years the video game industry died until it was revived by the NES in which it has been recorded a good 60 million were sold. Not bad!
