We can drive over and meet him at his parents house. :)dm_rick wrote:would it be an actual interview or just online?Nic wrote:I'm trying my hardest to get it done. I'm 'the guy' I guess, lol...
Here is my great wisdom...
hldy clothing, which is an indy store in Toronto, On.
Here's the website:
http://www.hldy.com
The store is called O My, 1140 Queen Street West, it's rediculously small, and it's staffed by one guy. And theirs only one size of each shirt.
I've talked to the guy a bunch, and he personally makes the clothes for Deryck and then they stop by and pick up the stuff.
Stevo has a place downtown above the Dominion on the Ryerson University campus and when Dave was still in the band, he was around all the time because he lived so close in Ajax.
Daves band, Brown Brigade actually uses 'Kill the 8' for their clothing which is associated to hldy clothing.
The only shirt that hldy offers that is exactly like Derycks is the shirt called 'pine box' available on the website. The story has a couple more exactly like his, but for the majority, it is limited edition stuff just made for him.
Almost all the clothes Deryck wore while touring with 'Chuck' were from hldy. So far with Underclass Hero, a few of his shirts have been from them.
And that's what I know... lol
Also, I am a Ryerson University journalism student (downtown TO) and I know you can apply for media accreditation for their concerts (No matter where you live). Mostly the criteria is just the scope of your publication. IE. This website, the amount of hits it recieves, the bredth of its fanbase worldwide.
I recieved creditation for Silversteen when they were in Toronto, basically just because my younger brother wanted some insane pics of them. You get back stage, you get 15 minuts with them.
I currently work for a weekly newspaper in Brighton, Ontario (20,000 copies) and then a downtown publication called The Eyeopener (10,000 circ) during the academic year.
I haven't applied for Sum41 media creditation because I love the front row and yelling the lyrics. (Seen them live 8 times, anyone beat that?)
Hope it helps. Im always trying to figure out more.
