Your logic is a bit flawed, if I used the same argument then Internet Explorer would be safest. The truth is Mozilla kind got lazy after 3.5 and have only started getting back into the games thanks to Google's ever-increasing threat to the market share. I know for a fact that Firefox is one of the slowest JavaScript sppeds.
