I'm hoping it's all one song, but at the same time with really great parts that won't get old when you're halfway through the song.

But I can see this song pulling Jesus of Suburbia and being made up of four or five sections where you can distinctly tell "Okay, the first part just ended, this is the second part/song/section." In a way, I don't want the band to cop out like that and just do what Green Day did.

if it's just one 12 minute song it'll be fucking horrible. i can't see it being even half good unless they rip off green day lol

As long as Deryck isn't singing about his mommy and daddy problems, I'll be happy. Only because a 30 year old man should have new and better things to sing about now. I didn't find it as bad with Green Day ("And mom and dad are the ones you can blame" from Homecoming) because it was a concept album and hardly about Billie Joe.

I don't know. So many ideas running through my head of what this song could be like. My expectations won't be extremely high as to not let myself down.

I think that there will be sections ...and I like it more :)

it should have a quiet acoustic intro with piano, then turns to something like welcome to hell, then an epic solo. followed by 6 minute intsrumental with random effects. then ends with....something epic like the end of jesus of suburbia

Welcome to Hell is an amazing song, way better than any song with piano in it. That being said I hope it's like Metallica's Suicide and Redemption.

A 12 minute ANIC would be pretty cool. But hardcore songs aren't supposed to be longer than 3 minutes.
