thanks ...the interview was cool to read :) so the first song on the record will be the one that was written as the first :) but the thing about Sum 41 the funniest band playing live is pretty courageous ...because I'd almost agree but D probably forgot that Blink 182 is back and they're still funny ;) Sum 41 and Blink 182 are the funniest bands ..

It got me super-confused too.

Yeah, could be right too.
But I was thinking about the fact that Underclass Hero was the first song (and single) of the UH-album as well.
Actually,as I re-read the interview it says it will be the first track, which is something different than the first song.

Could still be a track that starts with an intro, which is simply cut for the radio edit.

So, the first track is the first song he wrote, right?
And the one of the first titles we heard was Jessica Kill.
Also, UH the song was the first song Deryck wrote for the last album.
It was the first single, and the first track on the album too.
So maybe Jessica Kill will be the new single?
Maybe this is a concept of the start of the tracklist?

there's a lot of maybe's :) I wish we already could say something for sure...and I still regret UH being a single ...CYLB would've been much more better choice ...hope that the first song on this new record will be better than UH ...UH song i my least favorite from all Sum 41 songs ...

It's weird actually.
At the beginning Deryck says like "Another 3 weeks and we're done!", but further on, talking about the first track, he says he's still working on the lyrics.
So, he's still trying to fix them during the mixing process or what?

I guess cause:

And seriously... the second song has to be an acronym cause SH WMAT makes no sense!

you could be right.. jessica kill is also the first song we've seen Deryck working on for this album (in 2009)

Well, actually I guess he's not aiming at the new song.
Because they're talking about the first song that came to him. It's the first song he wrote for this record, but he's still trying to figure the lyrics out.

I agree. He looks like a punk dwarf with his puffy, make-up corrected, hangover face.

He kind of reminds me of a Kurt Cobain wannabe with the blue glasses. But is also reminds me of that magazine article they were in during the Does This Look Infected? era where they were covered in shaving cream or whatever.
