The Betrayed was ok... but just ok. I was really excited about it and the fact it took them like 4 years to do it all and re-record and shit.. but It wasn't worth the 4 years.
Good Charlotte did the same recently.. they finished recording their latest album with Howard Benson back in late 2009, then they scrapped the whole thing and started re-recording everything in January with Don Gilmore.

Yeah haha, they said their new album will be old school GC and Blink-like and them Blink reunited haha. I actually prefer a darker GC record, like Chronicles of Death & Life.. we don't need a Blink copy. Even in their poppier records they were unique and all..

Yeah, Good Charlotte said they wanted to "fill the void" that was created by the break-up of Blink-182. I really like the Young and the Hopeless album, so I think Cardiology will be pretty good. But even though Blink-182 is back, it's not like they're making another Enema of the State or Take Off Your Pants and Jacket. So in a sense, Good Charlotte would still be filling a "pop-punk" void reminiscent of the old Blink-182.

Blink isn't that good nowdays anyway. They haven't done shit except doing that reunion tour and releasing a shitload of merch. Up All Night was supposed to be released like a year ago right?

I also like The Young And The Hopeless the most ...and G CH are all cool...melodies,lyrics and they have their own style ...
to Emil: it's too soon to talk ...I know that Blink 182 will be different and don't expect no EOTS or TOYJ but man...I also believe in the two - Mark and Tom ...the two were born to make music together...and they also have one of the best drummers ...and they are still fucking funny !!!
