Well I mean originally it was the title for an EP song, not for an UH song.

Now I think Jessica Kill will stick to the album. The title has been around a year already, so I'll doubt they would change it.

I don't think you guys should address the EP and the album as two different things. The EP is basically the first stage of the album. The album, the one they are recording now, is basically a continuation of the EP, so yeah, even though Deryck said that he outdone most of the songs from the EP, obviously some songs from the EP will stay in some form or another. They are basically the same thing, back even when they did the EP, Deryck said its going to be dark, heavy and aggressive and all, and the album basically continues that line.

I know Deryck said in the Absolute Punk forum chat that he was making an EP of more aggressive songs. If he kept "outdoing" these songs with songs he was writing for the now soon-to-be album, then he must've still been writing songs in the vein of dark, aggressive, fast... etc. because can you really "outdo" a song you've already written if it's completely different from the original?

Either way, I really hope I enjoy this album. All that shit with Pieces and The Scientist, Underclass Hero taking inspiration from American Idiot... it's all made me too critical of their music and I just want a Sum 41 album I can pop into my car and go, "fuck yeah, this is what I need."

Song alone = shit. Make a change, mix that shit song, with something that has potential, and you get a better song. Which you can obsly take from No Reason/noots. Noots being shit.

I definitely enjoy No Reason over Noots, but I also think Noots was good enough to be included on Chuck.

I always liked Sum 41 pre- Chuck, but Noots made Sum 41 one of top 10 favorite bands.

Oh yeah, okay I thought that's what you meant haha, since Noots and No Reason are like completely different.

I still liked Subject to Change though. The only thing that bugged me about the song was the chorus. It just didn't fit. The song as a whole is a mess compared to No Reason, but it had its moments. I love that line in the verse, "It's only a problem when it happens to you" and the bridge. They included the bridge in No Reason, but it's masked by the chorus and it just passes you by. The intro of Subject to Change was cool too, like how it progressed. I wonder if they'll have songs like that on the new album rather than just busting out the main riff front and center.

Anyway, those are my thoughts, haha. I don't know why, I just really feel like typing tonight.
