Oh you mean like Idol or something like that? we've got like 5 of those shows. All of them sucks.

yea, it's pretty much the same thing then, they just changed the name to make it sound cooler. I wish I had "The X-Factor".

I'd have to say American Idol. They've got to entertain a larger audience so the show will have more weirdos at the beginning and drama between judges. They probably bring up better special guests too. Anything Canada does is too tame and boring compared to the US. I actually haven't seen either in a long time, but that's just the impression I got.
