I'm surprised. I've always thought of Deryck as a kind of two faced, nice guy putting on a show for everyone and making him look like more of a bad ass than he actually is.

there have been two different derycks the one before avril and the one after they started going out .
if you didn't know he did drugs for years before where have you been ?

yeah I read about this in an Avril 2007 JANE interview:

"I asked Avril about an old Playboy interview in which Deryck said 'When I'm coming down from coke, I can't be alone for some reason.'
'He doesn't do drugs,' Avril jumps in. 'clearly he use to, because he talked about it,.........."

ROFL trust me blink-182 isnt non-drug. marks done acid (accidentally), toms done shrooms, im almost 100% theyve all smoked weed. i have scans from a magazine interview blink did where they talked about drugs.
thats rad tho, i didnt know sum 41 did any drugs (except weed). on one of the q&a's on punkdisaster or w.e that deryck did i asked him if he smokes weed and he said he doesnt like it.

I couldn't agree more.

I never thought Deryck was drunk when he was onstage back in the day, but you watch Sake Bombs and Happy Endings and the Pukklepop performance from 2003 or whenever and you can definitely see the guy was wasted. You can tell the difference in the sober performances nowadays because he says, "fuck" a lot more often. It's annoying.

I don't know, but he was definitely more entertaining and more fun to watch.

And they probably don't do drugs anymore. All these drug stories were over five years ago. I doubt they're still doing cocaine, shrooms and acid now that they're married. Deryck, maybe now that he's unshackled. But most likely not.
