What's up with all the hate against public health care?
In America, the people privileged enough to afford a private insurer think it's the best thing in the world. If we adopt a public option, many think it would run the private insurers out of business and we would only be left with government run health care. A lot of Americans don't trust the government and a vast amount are misinformed and think public health care would be costlier in the long run and wait times would be unbearable. If we only had universal health care, it would actually be cheaper, and every American would get the care they deserve. Our current health care actually has a lower approval rate than most countries with government run health care...Emil wrote:What's up with all the hate against public health care?
That was actually a good argument for public healthcare compared to all the other people who only says that Obama sucks.Bass Cone wrote:In America, the people privileged enough to afford a private insurer think it's the best thing in the world. And you do it well.Bass Cone wrote:I try to back up my claims...
Google it.Bass Cone wrote:Peter, I haven't heard anywhere that his plan would cost 3 trillion dollars. And if we did have a public option, the money to pay for it would come from the American people's taxes.
yeah, look at the top results, should get you an idea.Bass Cone wrote:I have googled it and no official source has said 3 trillion dollars. What you're giving me is a bunch of people with questionable credibility on Yahoo answers...

that and the fact that some people associate universla health care = communism (that's what i've seen on the net at least),Bass Cone wrote:In America, the people privileged enough to afford a private insurer think it's the best thing in the world. I'm not an economic expert so I don't know. But what I'm not going to do is throw out some random number because no one really knows for sure how much the cost will be yet.PTR wrote: Brittany, how much do you think it'll cost?

You're a dumb fuckin kid!... Bush is the reason the economy's fucked and we're at war! He screwed this country harder than Tommy Lee screwed Paris Hilton! What a joke.sumfan4 wrote:ya I didn't think you liked Bush.PTR wrote:I'm not for Bush either. Lolsumfan4 wrote:ftw ^PTR wrote:

we have public health care but we also have private health care (if you can afford it of course ) for example cancer can be treated for free (or most of them) and lactose-free milk for babies which according to my cousin is around 40 euros each can and my nephew used to drank 1 in 2 days ..do the maths also a few years ago my grandma had herpes (can't say which kind in english sorry but the doc said it was one of the worst) and she had the treatment for free ,it'd have costed around 700 euros, universla health care has its cons though .... huge list of patients before you
# average spanish salary is 20.438 euros per year
Bush was the worst president ever. He started a war based on misunderstanding and he fucked the worlds economy.sumfan4 wrote:ya I didn't think you liked Bush.PTR wrote:I'm not for Bush either. Lolsumfan4 wrote:ftw ^PTR wrote:
