Haha, yeah me too. Fun fact is that the biggest show they ever played was opening for Foo Fighters at Hyde Park and apparently weren't that appreciated by the fans who didn't ant to hear about them being saved by Tom. It's kind of fun that Foo Fighters can sell out stadiums without trying to be spacemans and just palying rather simple basic rock instead.
Tom needs a relaity check.
Yeah Dave Grohl went out on stage and told them to stop booing AVA cos they were cool dudes or something, or his friends lol. He's such an awesome guy.
almost every headlining band would do that, either out of compassion or they really were friend, and usually when you take a band with you on tour you make friends with them ...

Haha, i can understand the fan's reaction though, paid to see the Foo Fighters have to sit through AVA who at the time was a new band that acts like they're the biggest band in the world and on top of that has a singer that can't sing, i would be pretty pissed aswell.

when I saw AVA at Reading in 2007, everyone was just chanting for Blink 182 the whole time.

an astronaut trapped in space, then some war down on the planet, and LOVE ...
''After losing contact with Earth, Astronaut Lee Miller becomes stranded in orbit alone aboard the International Space Station. As time passes and life support systems dwindle, Lee battles to maintain his sanity - and simply stay alive. His world is a claustrophobic and lonely existence, until he makes a strange discovery aboard the ship.''
I'm pretty sure I saw war in the trailer though XD the movie the movie is 6.8 on IMDB, 311 people rated, looks like the more people see it, the less points it gets ...

It has done well at film festivals, it's been rated badly by blink fanboys that decided they may as well go to that showing they had a month or two back, or even a lot of AVA fanboys that still didn't understand it, they just went because it was AVA. It's a trippy arty film, not some band thing that some people thought it'd be. I've heard it was pretty well done, but I don't really like movies and I cbf looking deeply into the meaning of anything so I'm not gonna like it.

I agree about the Blink fans, but I know enough AvA fanboys to tell you that they are mostly homosexual kids raping monks and they would rate 10/10 anything Tom does, even if they can't understand it ...

Apparently they're playing a new live Neighborhoods song at Voodoo Fest today, I'm thinking Wishing Well, as well as an old song that wasn't played on the Honda Civic Tour, could just be Reckless Abandon or something though.

Well I guess you were right. The new song they played live was Wishing Well... but from seeing the setlist I haven't seen anything old they haven't played in a while except for When You Fucked Grandpa. But I hoped they'll return Stockholm Syndrome to the setlist. Actually I'm not sure if Josie was played on the Honda Civic Tour.

Also they've playing some radio show on the 11th of December, there's rumours they'll also play KROQ christmas thing the day before that.
