You've seen the updates, right?

You should know that these aren't live. It takes a while to get this right, to put everything in the right order and to edit a few things.

It's just normal that those videos have a few days-delay.

That is kinda demo guitar what you hear in those clips, makes it easier to record bass.

I think the song Der plays on Day 4 is 'Panic Attack', only because of the weird timing.

Slipping Away was nice, but it was cut too short and probably could've blossomed into a good song.

even though none of these clips have been close to the punk/metal style I love from them (other than that one riff deryck played) what I love most about these clips is that it's NOT pop punk. it's kind of a big sounding darker rock album, which makes me happy as well. sum 41 is always better when they lean more to rock, rather than pop.




oh and Mulholland '49 said that he thought that riff deryck played in the last video (right?) could be panic attack. it wouldn't surprise me if it was, but on the other hand, it seems a little too happy sounding to be a song about a panic attack though....could be wrong.

I like the sound, its fast and aggressive but not too "heavy"

If one or two songs were like ANIC, Welcome to Hell..etc.. its cool, not my fave sound from them, just a personal preference.

Awesome, update. Nice bass line Cone was playing earlier, hopefully that's part of the new album. Also the riff from the old 2009 Studio Update is back!

Oh, I didn't realize it was same riff, I just thought that it sounded very familiar. The lead guitar sounds good in that song from what I can hear.

3- Why is 20% of the update about his Twitter, or first tweet, or whatever? Why would anybody follow Matt Whibley?
