i'll hurt you if you dont get the zoom. I have the zune R24 and its AMAZING!! easy to use and your recording sounds studio. seriously- dont settle for the stupid Tascam. The Zoom is the best. You will NOT be disapointed

Yes- you can plug your guitar into it...but the fx are kinda cheesy and lame sounding...So-- i recommend running from your amp or box.
