'Posh' is the kind of accent you'd find in an Oscar Wilde comedy.

Let me please enlighten you my dear English speakers, your language doesn't have a "standard model" like some other languages do(Spanish and French, for example), you don't have an English Academy, you've Oxford, Cambridge, and the Westchester dictionary. Since you don't have a unified language, and it's kinda hard to learn all the fucking dialects, we're taught something called Received Pronunciation, aka the Queen's English, the British standard accent.
As for me, I've been told I've an American accent, which is not surprising considering the fact that
A) I watch a lot of american tv shows
B) my catalan dialect it's kind of similar
