Yeah, it's funny actually. I also thought about the Foo Fighters documentary right away and them working with Gil on The Colour and the Shape, and how that album and working with Gil kinda led to the departure of the drummer at the time, William Goldsmith, and if you can blame someone for this it could be Gil Norton haha, cuz it was him that wasn't really happy with the way the band recorded then drums & bass, I recall, and then Dave just recorded the drums all over again, so maybe it's a good thing they fired Gil before it would've made Stevo leave the band and Deryck doing all instruments by himself on the album haha.Emil wrote:I think they should have kept Gil around anyway. but shouldn't laugh... I mean Deryck played every kind of instrument on Avril's record like guitar, bass, piano and drums.. fuck he even sang background vocals
