They could've released an album and two EPs by this time already. Originally they were going to release an EP, so why is he trying to make only one album so hard? Instead they could've released the album as it was meant to few months ago, and then release an EP with more new songs.

I can wait, yes, but what I don't like is that he's scrapping some great songs off the album, which we probably will never hear because of this.

Also, my heart bleeds seeing that guitar going to waste.

im a big poster on the 182online forum, and we've got fuck all news at the moment about blink. so this waiting with sum 41 doesn't really feel like anythign to me haha

well blink got back together, and said they would release a new album at some point. before their north american tour they promised us the first single from the album and that never happened. there's even twitters from the bass player saying it would be out in a week. that was a year ago. and now the tour with AVA finished so we're all expecting blink stuff to start happening and no one from the band has said anything. it's ridiculous

Yeah I've been checking that site lately as well.

Good old Blink is gone forever though imo.

On a good note, I'm excited that the album is "99% done" which means maybe we can get an August release.

yeah they were meant to but now it's being put back till july or even august. and they're going to tour europe for a few weeks in late august so they'll be in the studio for like 2 days lol. fail

Around the 1:00 mark of that video he says that the two new songs will, "Make a great addition to the album." So this album is going to have a lot more than 14 tracks unless they scrap ones off the listing already.

It's cool Deryck has all this material, but I really want to hear it all and I doubt that's going to happen. Though, I'd rather have him pick out the best work from a collection of songs he's written than only write 14 songs for the album and be done with it.

That's the shitty thing about being an artist. He could write, and write.. And eventually, he'd see that he can beat every bad song, and replace it with a better one.. And Sum 41 would never release anything. But when he;s finally content with everything, then it'll be nothing but a masterpiece in his eyes.
