Awesome! Keep your eyes peeled for HQ new material in the new future. My one worry is that there new stuff will sound too like the Tubbies. Stay the Night was amazing though :D

Sum 41 doesn't want to play unreleased songs because of the lack of crowd response.
And Green Day puts on a show exclusive for new material only.

:suicide:

Yeah, if only the sums could do that... Or even one unreleased song would make my day !

Wow, they have more than enough material for a full-length album. Fuckin' great. This rock n' roll influenced punk is really getting big now considering the Sums also did it with Baby and TFYTG.

Yeah I think this rock'n'roll vibe is pretty cool, but in my opinion TFYTG and BYDWK are the "worst" songs on SBM. I find Green Day being much better in this domain !

Green Day are one of my favourite bands, they put on some of the best live shows I've ever been to.

I don't see how they can go back to their old style though, now there's at least two guitars and a range of other instruments in the live shows as well as different guitar tones. Most of the old sound is Billie Joe's younger voice, the production and the old guitar tone.

Whatever Green Day do, it'll probably be good though.

Yeah, I agree.. but it's not that Sum 41 doing this punk with rock n' roll vibe songs worse than Green Day... it's just that Baby and TFYTG were the odd one out songs in SBM. They were kinda in a different happy vibe and contrasted the dark alternative rock/metal tone of the whole album, suddenly being all happy and jumpy songs, so in this case, this style kinda fits Green Day more, but I bet if the Sums would do a whole album of such rock n roll songs in the vein of Baby and TFYTG it could be really good, though I prefer the heavy stuff.
