It's a mix of grapefruit and äppler (what's the national drink of a Hess)

Btw, I think there are 2 types of people: the ones who love and the ones who hate Dr. Pepper. Just tried it once, but I must say I belong to the latter ones...

I've never tried it but I have had a diseranno and coke and I've been told that tastes like the Dr. Pepper. I rated it a meh.

I believe, they don't even sell Dr.Pepper in Germany. Just tried it when I was In NYC, and I have to say: Some known things tasted different/not as good as at home, like McDonald's or M&M's ...

that's cos they use some chemical products that aren't allowed in europe
