This is getting ridiculous, I wouldn't mind waiting this long if they told us the date that it was being released but it's just been a tedious irritation for 4 weeks now. It has to be in the next couple of days

It would probably be an ideal time to release the song now, I think, with Deryck being sick and all. Though I don't see this song coming out sooner than the later half of August to be honest.

Oh of course. Well everyday I give up on waiting but the next morning I look straight away

They first said something about the song back in early July. When they said that they said it should be out in a week or two.

I take everything the band says with a grain of salt. When they announce it, I try to leave it at that instead of counting down an undisclosed number of days because that just makes it seem longer.

So, bottom line is: 12-minute song coming out before the album is released. That's really only how I look at it.

On a more optimistic note, you could always hope for a podcast or radio leak. I remember that some radio stations were playing Underclass Hero before it was officially released as a single.

When a band (such as Blink-182 or Sum 41) say that they're gonna release something soon I think of it as I'll hear it before I die.
