well tom was on modcam today, credit to a guy from another forum for this info (all the info is pretty much shit)

I thought Mark said Blink were going into the studio after the Euro tour to record the new album?

blink goes to europe, works on stuff for 2 months or so, AVA tours for like 2 weeks or so at the most, then it's back to blink im pretty sure. i think the guy who posted that message made stuff sound worse than it actually is...

Me too. I feel like it's going to be some cheesy sci-fi, like if Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace was a romance and the score was by Angels and Airwaves.

Also, Tom should probably take a new approach to writing for AVA if he's able to dish out so much music in a small amount of time. It just seems like every year there's a new album. It's hard for me to tell if the band is improving or if they just got stuck in their little niche of space rock or whatever you want to call it.

also, their latest album came out 3 years after the one before it lol. and 2 years in between the first two, so they don't have music that regularly. but the music is easy to write. like, i think i could make a decent AVA song if i had tom to sing for it...

Wow, yeah I totally forgot how old AVA really is! Doesn't seem like I-Empire was that long ago. Well... I hope Love Part 2 has a Letters to God Part 3 because Part 2 was a letdown! I loved the intro, especially the very beginning. There's some sort of dark, creep to it that reminded me of Box Car Racer, then that epic riff that comes in after. The rest of the song doesn't really step up though.

I think it would be a better song if you just did the singing yourself. And wrote the lyrics yourself aswell.

Anyone remember the video where Tom said he worked for hours on the Adventure main riff? If that's true then he sucks on guitar. After i learned Anthem on guitar i found out that he used the outro riff on that in Reckless Abandon at different rhytm. And then he used it again in the Adventure but with lots of effects and in a higher note.

He basically reveals one of his secrets to riff-writing in this video.
