the foos will win the grammy, 90% of the awards are about fame/popularity, let's face it, the media are always kissing dave's ass, the guy is brilliant though

well the sums are getting a lot of hate for even being nominated in this category so do the foo fighters .. i think it will be dream theater ... or megadeth considering it's their 10th nomination ^^ .. but i want the sums to get this thing soooooooo bad :S

I read that the decison on the winner's are not based on popularity when it comes to the Grammy's:
In both voting rounds, Academy members are required to vote based upon quality alone, and not to be influenced by sales, chart performance, personal friendships, regional preferences or company loyalty. The acceptance of gifts is prohibited. Members are urged to vote in a manner that preserves the integrity of the academy.

I think the Foo Fighters are gonna take it because that whole record is unique in itself for being recorded in a garage on tape without digital aids.

I think the Foo's album is a solid rock album, but SBM is more creative
