^^ thanks, looks like only Canadians can watch it, that pretty dumb considering they could get a wider reach with international views. Anyways. Strange that he said he doesn't care what people think about the Grammy, thought he was really proud about being nominated

It was more about the Bad reactions for them being nominated for that certain Grammy.

I was planning on uploading the interview that I recorded. So if you can't view it, I'll put the link here when it's ready.

Thank you, that was nice to watch. Good to hear from him, although he is ageing badly by the looks of it and his hair is really thinning or whatever. But he still remains in good spirits which is nice to see.

yea....he looks quite older and tired. Do you guys think that if Deryck does end up in a wheelchair that will end Sum 41? Or do you think they'll just work with it? Cause he's really determined, I dont know if being in a wheelchair will stop him. Or WILL IT? :holyshit:

I think that he'll get better. I think the wheelchair thing was a wakeup call (Since he kept playing shows even when he shouldn't of) and that everything that means a lot to him (Such as the band) could be gone so quickly. I don't think he would know what to do with himself if he couldn't perform on stage. I think that will motivate him to do whatever he can to get back out on the road. I think that with time, the time he's taking off, he will heal. We can only hope!

Looks like pretty ordinary Deryck Whibley to me, just tired.

I wouldn't really expect anything different considering how painful his back has to be right now. Hopefully he takes his time.

He'll be fine. "My life's great".

He looks older because of how much he drinks, and smokes. He looks bad. He needs to stop drinking and get rest, he looks tired.

Go read the 20 pages back. We've been through this many times already. No need to bring it back.

Thanks! I'm glad he seems very optimistic, he needs to stay that way.

It baffles me why so many vocalists smoke cigarettes. Unreal. Seriously, that's the first thing they tell you not to do when you're going into a career as a musician...

Yeah, even though we've already discussed this, I'm pretty sure it's something Deryck started when he was in his teens. He started smoking at 14 and quit at 19. Guess he picked it back up again, unfortunately. Not only are vocalists not supposed to smoke but they also shouldn't drink alcohol regularly. Nothing we can do about it though, it's the way D's been. Don't think it'll change but I'm sure he knows what he can handle and what he can't.

It doesn't help with the video quality in judging the way he looks right now, but I think he looks okay. He definitely looks like a guy that is lacking sleep.

Also, when the three of them are walking, Deryck looks like Danny Devito. I freaking swear to God.
