RIP Blink 182: 1994 - 2003
The whole song is 156bpm. That's a decently fast Tempo for a rock song.FuckT41182 wrote:if this wasn't a joke than excuse my 10 minutes long laughter XD the only 'fast' part is the riff that seems a lot out of placeTyler. wrote:Do you mean that literally? I sure hope the album has a higher tempo than this.

I was thinking about this last night. I mean, clearly, he doesn't sound like he used to sound so I don't think it'll sound bad imo. His voice doesn't really suit the old blink songs now, especially when he's drunk, but because this song shows the way he sounds now I'd say he'll sound alright.SBMurder wrote:How do you think Tom is gonna sound live signing this?
first, people were saying that Sum 41 got signed with IR because of the fact that Blink 182 did a big pop punk boom with Enema, without Enema IR would never realize what a big case of money they can get out from signing a pop-punk band ...Ashasx wrote:Wow. I don't like this at all. Sounds like an A&A reject song. And I didn't even like A&A.
And people were saying Sum 41 is a lesser version of Blink?

second, one bad song(possibly album) doesn't make the band bad, it just means that they have one bad album among a bunch of some great ones
third, even though I am very far from liking Up All Night, I seriously doubt that the new Blink 182 album will be worse than Underclass Hero
Wouldn't go that far, it's just one song. There are plenty of bands that released a single and I wasn't to fond of it. Screaming Bloody Murder for example. Didn't really like the song to much but I loved the album.DeryckW wrote:RIP Blink 182: 1994 - 2003

This doesn't mean the other songs will be softer !FuckT41182 wrote:hmm, I've just read Mark's statement that the Up All Night was supposed to be softer, but they wanted their first single to be more ROCK sounding, omfg, if the other songs will be even softer than I'll be listening to the 2 last records by Simple Plan for 16 years
it doesn't, but if they say that in their eyes Up All Night is less electronic and more rock song, than it just makes me think if there will be more electro sounds on the rest of the album ...ptido wrote:This doesn't mean the other songs will be softer !FuckT41182 wrote:hmm, I've just read Mark's statement that the Up All Night was supposed to be softer, but they wanted their first single to be more ROCK sounding, omfg, if the other songs will be even softer than I'll be listening to the 2 last records by Simple Plan for 16 years
