I hate the fact that she used the title "everybody hurts" for one of her songs. If its not an REM cover, it should be named something else. It's not like its a unknown song, its a classic and a staple of REMs discography. It feels like she's trying to profit from that. Am I the only just a little seemed by this?

I won't lie, there's a part in the chorus that I find to be extremely catchy and if I listen to that song any more I might get it stuck in my head. Right now I can't remember how it goes and I've only heard the full song three times so far. I can see how they may like it for the sheer catchiness of the song rather than the actual artistic, meaningful aspect of it.

Basically, songs that grip the top of the charts aren't usually insightful, smart or intriguing songs. They're just catchy and people can't get enough of the hooks. If you can write a song that does both, you're awesome!

I still haven't heard this song, and I would like to keep it this way. I wonder how long I'll last.

I seen it for the first time on tv today on Much Music on New Music Live. They play new videos so of course that one was added in the playlist. Can't say I didn't enjoy it, aha. I'm getting used to the video.
