Well this is, can't wait for them to record the album already and I hope we'll get video updates from the recording as well. As much as those pre-pro updates were fun, funny and definitely better than nothing, they didn't really give us any new info or any ideas about the album, maybe except the fact that Tom might sing there and his Cone song haha.

Yeah I guess they label didn't wanna give new music to us. And I kinda think its better that way.

I try to make this album so special, that I'm not even gonna listen previews of the songs. (Haha, that's easy to say now..)

Yeah, I want to try and do the same thing.

However, as soon as someone say "the album leaked today," I can't guarantee I won't download it. But then again, it would be the same as if the album was released on that day, so I don't think I'd be ruining anything for myself. So I guess I'll just try and avoid listening to samples of songs.

I'm gonna download leak for sure, like you said it kinda would be the same thing. It would be even better If I could resist the first single 'cause when the albums out my itunes shows probably a few hundred plays for it :D

But will I be disappointed when I hear the album first time without listening any samples of the songs before? If I'd listen previews for a week or two, songs had already grown on me before listening to the album for the first time. I was disappointed when I heard first time UH's previews, I thought every song sounded exactly same, but they grown on me pretty quick.

aw, i guess thats it. for now. looking forward to the ones in January... hopefully.
if it does leak; I'd probably download it, but I'd still buy the album of course.

I've never downloaded Sum 41 leaks, so that won't be a problem.
Also, with UH, I didn't listen to the preview clips, and won't do it this time either.
All I'm concerned about is whether to listen to the first (and second?) single before the album comes out.

When UH the single came, I listened to it about 400 times before the actual album came out.
So when the album came, I've already "spoiled" three songs out of 14 (UH, Walking Disaster and MOTD).
This time I'd want to listen to the new album from start to finish without any "ah, I know this one" feelings.

that would be so awsome.

They've used a lot of "heavier" songs for these video updates. So it must suit the tone they are aiming for with the new album, which would be awesome.

Hopefully. Though, for some reason I feel as if this album should come out during the fall or winter. It's going to be a darker album, therefore it should be released at a more depressing season, haha. My only logic is that Chuck was released in the fall and Underclass Hero was released in the summer.

I'm not saying I want it come out that time, but it just seems like it would be better suited for a fall or winter release. I doubt that it would take another year for the album to be released, but I do think it was Cone or someone that mentioned Fall 2010 as the latest the album could be dropped. With Sum 41 nowadays, you never know how long it takes them to do something.
