It's difficult to judge on only 30 seconds. There could be some epic build-up or chorus waiting to happen. By the way, I just realized there's mad Box Car Racer melody in this track. Me Gusta.

Excited, but my hopes aren't too high, I think it's gonna be a good song, but not something as epic as they said. However, there voices sound closer, it's more "difficult" to know who sings what.

but honestly, I've just been worried about this album.
Understandable! They haven't put out an album since 2003 and they were in their prime back then! I don't speak for everyone, but I don't think AvA was as great as Tom hoped it would be. Their first album is probably the only one I really listen to from time to time and +44 took a few years to finally grow on me. There's a lot of pressure riding on this album, not only because of a reunion, but because it took them so long afterwards to put out new music!
If the new record has anywhere near the feeling of a fusion between Box Car Racer and +44, I will probably enjoy the album regardless.

don't worry - AvA WASN'T as great as Tom thought. That exact pressure that you're talking about its why I'm worried, because there's so much at stake! I could easily dig a Box Car Racer-esque vibe from the album
